A space to breathe, breathe the space
For myself, space has always been important. I love open areas where I can breathe deep and long. Problems dwindle and solutions arrive in just breathing and looking. After absorbing the big spaces, small places appear. This is where the details live. Either space provides me with an endless source of artistic ideas.

The sea was choppy and the fishing poor but the mollymawks and albatross were unforgettable. They surrounded our fishing boat, hoping for food. Standing on deck I reached out and touched the tip of the mollymawks wing, she moved slightly, out of reach, then looked me straight in the eye. I can still feel her feathers on my fingertips.
