Shaelagh Jones is a New Zealand acrylic artist who produces art inspired by her experiences. Nature has a strong call for her and she loves tramping and being in the natural environment.
She is mostly self-taught, but has taken art classes from the Quarry Art Centre and Reyburn House and continues to learn about art making. She has worked as a qualified garden designer in the past, working in Auckland, Wellington and the Bay of Islands.
She now resides and works from her studio in Whangarei, Northland.
Her work is shown in local galleries and she also undertakes commissioned works.
